Black and Blue

I fall again
Raped by the imperfections of my brain
Everlasting sorrow in every breath
No colorful hues are seen
Wearing blinders with no dreams
Beaten and black and blue
With no visual bruises
Standing alone with pain that is veiled
Tear stained face and contorted vision
Prone in the coffin of my being
